Why We built forge Soccer academy
DEVELOP YOUTH PLAYERS
We built Forge because we saw a gap that too many players were falling into. Team trainings alone weren’t giving players enough touches, repetition, or individual attention to truly improve, and the alternative—private training—was often inconsistent, expensive, and hard to rely on long term. We knew there had to be a better way. Forge was created to bridge that gap: a place where players can train consistently, be pushed at the right level, and actually develop over time—not just show up and go through the motions.

DUNCAN MCKENNA
CO-FOUNDER
Duncan brings both high-level experience and a genuine love for the game to Forge. A former Division 1 striker at Dixie State University, he was also named Hawaii Gatorade Player of the Year and won two state championships. Over the past six years, he’s coached consistently across all levels—working with players in private sessions, leading competitive teams at FC Hawaii, and founding Golden Boot Academy, a striker-focused training program in Honolulu
CADE BALLINGHAM
CO-FOUNDER
Cade is a native to Cottonwood Heights, where he competed for several local clubs, including Murray Max, InterFC, and AFC Apex. He played at Brighton High School, earning a state championship in his senior year, and continued his career at the Division 1 level at Dixie State University. In addition to his playing experience, Cade has contributed to player development by coaching youth and helping them build confidence in their technical abilities.
